Not because today Pakistan lost the match from West Indies in Bangladesh. Because the art of losing the game can be learned from our cricket team. Many ways, Pakistani cricket team is blessed and lucky. We the best spinners, best fast bowlers, best fielders and best batsmen. But unity lacks in our team as our nation be too. Our players prove that we can’t bear stress, especially in T20.
T20 cricket was started in 2003 in England. Twenty20 game involves two teams, each has a single innings, batting for a maximum of 20 overs.
A Twenty20 game is completed in about three hours, with each innings lasting around 75–90 minutes (with a 10–20-minute interval), thus bringing the game closer to the timespan of other popular team sports. It was introduced to create a lively form of the game which would be attractive to spectators at the ground and viewers on television and as such it has been very successful.
Just like other sports “Cricket” also attract gamblers around the world. Black money circulates on highest bid. Billion of dollars earned by the winner and waste by looser. In other word, “Money goes in the gutter”.
Around the globe sponsored media run show and attract viewers.
In my city #Karachi roads are cleared and deserted. Shopping Plaza’s be no buyers. Trading Houses, Corporates Offices, Electronic Markets.. it’s closed earlier. Why, because of T20.
The nation sits in front of the television to watch T20.
Wasting time on fix matches.
That’s why I called “T20 waste of time”
